How SEO Studio handles personal information under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
What we collect
If you submit the enquiry form we receive your name, company, email address, website and the message you write. If you email or call us directly we hold whatever you choose to send. We do not buy contact data and we do not run advertising trackers on this site.
Why we hold it
Solely to respond to your enquiry and, if we work together, to deliver the engagement. We do not sell personal information or share it with third parties for marketing.
Client data
During an engagement we may be given access to your analytics, Search Console, server logs and source code. That access is read-only wherever technically possible, held under the confidentiality terms of our engagement agreement, and revoked at the end of the engagement or on request.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become engagements: 24 months, then deleted.
- Client records: seven years, as required by South African tax and company law.
- Client system access and exported data: deleted within 30 days of an engagement ending.
Your rights under POPIA
You may ask what we hold about you, request correction or deletion, and object to processing. Write to mvelojunior24@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. Web fonts are requested from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of that request; if you would prefer to avoid it, the fonts can be self-hosted on request.
